Gedae Personal

Gedae is a software development productivity tool that allows users to generate distributed signal and data processing programs with ease. Gedae Personal is a limited version of Gedae made available for personal, non-commercial use at an affordable price.

Gedae Personal is a limited version of Gedae Algorithm Development, a version of Gedae that removes the ability to partition and map applications to multiple processors. There will be three primary limitations on usage. There will be a maximum of three hundred primitive boxes per flow graph, a maximum of 16 MB of schedule memory, and a limit of 25 schedules.

Included in this package is a personal use version of the simulation tool GSIM, which allows users to partition and map their flow graphs on a simulated hardware topology. On top of the limitations discussed above, personal use version users will be limited to simulating parallel execution on 8 processors (standard version users may map to 2048 processors).

The primary platform supported for the release of the personal use version of Gedae will be Redhat Linux, available at www.redhat.com. The version is also available for Windows 2000/NT but will require the purchase of additional software — Exceed XDK available at www.hummingbird.com and Visual C++ available from Microsoft.

The personal use version of Gedae sells for $150.
